Hi, I'm Esther SG

Welcome to ESGco, where beauty meets expertise, intention, and authenticity. I'm not going to tell you this is "just a side hustle" because it's not. ESGco is the culmination of years of passion, practice, and purpose. This is my craft, my art, and my commitment to you.

My journey with hair started in 2020, but honestly, it began long before that. I've always been drawn to hairstyling, experimenting on myself, watching tutorials at 2am, believing "I can do this myself" (classic DIY girl energy). That curiosity turned into skill, and that skill turned into something I couldn't ignore.

Around the same time, I fell in love with makeup. What started as experimentation became expertise when I was blessed to work at Sephora for three years. Three years of working on hundreds of clients. Three years of perfecting techniques. Three years of learning what it really means to see someone light up when they look in the mirror.

As I got better, people noticed. Friends became clients. Clients became advocates. And that's when I knew this wasn't just something I loved doing. This was something I needed to do seriously.

Creating Space for us

As a dark-skinned woman, I've experienced it all the wrong shade matches, the "we don't carry your tone," the makeup artists who didn't know how to work with my skin. I've felt invisible in spaces that were supposed to celebrate beauty.

This isn't just about makeup and hair. It's about creating space for people who look like me people who deserve to feel seen, celebrated, and beautiful without compromise. Every technique I've mastered, every product I recommend, every service I offer it all comes from understanding what we need. Because I am you. I've been in that chair. I know what it feels like to finally be understood.
